Point of Pride: TCU Press

Posted on

Dear Horned Frogs,

There are many treasures at TCU, and one of them certainly is TCU Press! During a recent visit, we discussed their impact on our students, faculty, staff and academic reputation. Their hard work and dedication to our mission is a point of pride for all of TCU.

Here are a few key examples of how TCU Press makes an impact:

Increases TCU’s academic reputation as one of only 138 active university presses in the U.S., helping the university take its place among elite institutions.

Serves as a learning laboratory for undergraduate and graduate students, providing professional experience and opportunities for students interested in publishing and print careers.

Celebrates undergraduate research by publishing The Boller Review: TCU’s Undergraduate Journal of Research and Creativity. The journal showcases the work of TCU’s best students and how their classwork, research and writing make an impact beyond campus.

Encourages creativity and innovation by publishing works of contemporary fiction, poetry, nonfiction, criticism and scholarship.

Amplifies diverse cultures and scholarly perspectives by offering a variety of titles in different areas.

Connects TCU with the surrounding community by publishing books of local and regional interest, including the literature and history of Texas and the American West, and hosting events for local authors and readers.

Take a moment to explore their many offerings and special 150th-anniversary publications, and attend an upcoming event.

Lead On, TCU Press!
